The Board of Health is meeting 12/14/2022 at 7AM.
There are two action items. The first is a conditional noise variance for a Department of Public Works sanitary and storm sewer cured-in-place pipe project. Per the memo to the board residents and businesses in the project area may see their sewer service impacted between 8 and 24 hours. They “may hear sounds, intermittent throughout the project, related to heavy equipment.” Once the installation takes place, “the boilers may run constant through the night.” The process also includes an odor. Impacted residents can expect to receive a mailed notice in the week ahead of the liner installation.
They will also be voting on an environmental health fee schedule proposal which was not included in the agenda packet for the meeting.
There are also two information items. The first is the quarterly report and the second is a letter certifying that the Appleton Health Department is a Level III Health Department.
