Exhibition Center Advisory Committee Meeting 09/06/2022 – Expo Center Experienced $19,000 Operating Loss During First Half Of Year, Greater Fox Cities Hotel Occupancy Rates And Revenue Are Up

The Appleton Redevelopment Authority Exhibition Center Advisory Committee is meeting 09/06/2022 at 1PM.

They have no action items but they will be receiving a couple information items. These consist of an update on Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel and Fox Cities Exhibition Center and an update on the general state of tourism in the Fox Cities.

It appears that during the first half of the year the Fox Cities Exhibition Center operated at a loss of $19,355.

On the plus side, it looks like Starbucks is slated to open in or near the Hilton Paper Valley sometimes this fall.

Also on a positive note, hotel occupancy rates within the greater Fox Cities area look to be around 2019 levels, and revenue is the higher than in any previous year since 2016.
