The Library Board is meeting 07/19/2022 at 4:30PM.
There will be trustee reappointments for current board members Rebecca Kellner and Brian Looker, and the new appointment of Nanette Bunnow an Appleton Area School District Assistant Superintendent who will be taking over from Greg Hartjes as the AASD representative on the Library Board. Current Library Board member John Keller will also be taking over from Greg Hartjes as the Chair of the Library Board Finance Committee.
There are a few action items they will be voting on including the bill registers for May and June and an updated Code of Conduct policy and a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing policy.
Probably the item of most interest will be the Library Project Update, particularly given the recent news about a second delay that will push the library opening into early 2024.
Included in the agenda packet is a memo entitled “Spotlight on Safeguards for Keeping the Library Project Within Budget” [so hopefully there will be some discussion about how the budget is looking and whether they are staying within it.]
