The City Plan Commission is meeting 06/08/2022 at 3:30PM.
They have one action item on the agenda which is a request to approve a special use permit for a car wash at 3200 E. Express Court. This address is quite close to the old Applebees which is the future location of Club Car Wash. Club Car Wash’s special use permit application received some pushback from residents who felt there were already enough car washes in the area and Alderperson Brad Firkus (District 3) made sure to raise their concerns to the Common Council which ultimately went on to approve the special use permit. We’ll have to wait and see if this car wash receives the same pushback that Club Car Wash received. City staff is recommending that the special use permit be approved.
The committee will also receive an information item regarding Overlapping Extraterritorial Plat Approval Jurisdictions.
