Board Of Review Meeting 05/11/2022 – Will Take Up Second Appeal From Property Owner To Cut Assessed Value In Half

The Board of Review is meeting 05/11/2022 at 9AM.

The Board of Review makes determinations when property owners appeal the assessed value of their property. They will be considering one appeal this year, which was also brought by the property owner last year. The city has assessed the value at $1,754,300 while the owner believes it should be assessed at less than half that at $740,770.

While I didn’t watch or recap the meeting last year, the owner was unsuccessful in getting the value of the property reduced. We’ll see if he is more successful this year.
