The Municipal Services Committee is meeting 03/07/2022. I would expect that a decent portion of the meeting will be taken up with discussion of the “No Mow May” resolution which the committee had previously voted to hold to allow time for further review and discussion.
The rest of the action items on the agenda are fairly routine, consisting of a number of occupancy permits as well as some traffic control and parking changes in a few areas of town.
There are also several information items.
In light of some of the discussions that have taken place in recent months regarding enhanced crosswalks, the committee will be reviewing the crosswalk installation evaluation guidance flow chart. This had been on the agenda for the last Municipal Services Committee meeting, but they ran out of time to discuss it then.
The committee will be discussing the process for a possible redesign of Soldier Square.
They will also receive the 2021 Annual Parking Utility Report and the Inspections Division permit summary comparison report for February.
