Three different subcommittees of the Library Board will be meeting this week.
On 02/15/2022, the Library Board Finance Committee will be meeting at 9AM.
They will be approving the 2022 Library Materials Budget and then receiving 2 information items: (a) an overview of the Library and City Finance Policies and (b) a review of the new format for library financial reports.
At 10AM on 02/15/2022 the Library Board Building and Equipment Committee will meet.
They will be voting on the donation of library items to city departments and local non-profits and also voting on the temporary relocation of the community piano to Neenah Public Library during construction.
It looks like the library wants to get rid of a number of décor items including the stuffed bear and the fiberglass lion sculpture.
The committee will also receive several information items including (a) an overview of the city of Appleton procurement and contract management policy and APL donations policy, (b) an overview of the temporary library facility, and (c) an update on an auctioneer request for proposal.
Finally, on 02/16/2022 at 4PM the Personnel and Policy Committee will meet.
The one action item is to establish the Library Director’s 2022 performance goals.
The committee will also review the City of Appleton’s compensation study, review the Library Director’s job position description, and receive an overview of the temporary library and its staffing.
The committee may spend some time in this meeting in closed session to discussion personnel matters.
