The Fox Cities Transit Commission is meeting 01/17/2022 at 3:00PM.
They have only one action item which is the approval of the November 2021 payments, but they do have a number of information items.
They will be receiving the Ridership and Revenue report for November 2021. The total ridership in November 2021 was up by 20,000 as compared to November 2020, but it would still have another 30,000 to go before it got back to 2019 levels. The Year-to-Date numbers as of the end of November were about even with 2020’s numbers.
The commission will also be receiving a report on pilot program with Lawrence University that would allow Lawrence students to ride the bus free of charge with Lawrence repaying the fares to Valley Transit.
Additionally, there will be an update on the Whittman Avenue Facility renovation project.
