Parks And Recreation Committee Meeting 01/24/2022 – Will Vote On Resolution To Pursue Trail Funding, Parks And Rec Reciprocity Agreement With Menasha And Neenah

The Parks and Recreation Committee is meeting 01/24/2022 at 6:30PM.

The first action item is a request to adopt Resolution 2022-02 for Wisconsin DOT TAP Grant.

It looks like passage of this resolution is a necessary step in order to apply for financial aid from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in order to fund Phase 2 of the WE Energies trail project.

The second action item is a request to approve a reciprocity agreement with the cities of Menasha an Neenah that would allow the residents of Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah to utilize the Park and Recreation services in each of those municipalities at the resident fee. It includes program registration, pool passes, boat launch permits, and pavilion reservations.
