The upcoming week continues the quiet winter break the City of Appleton has been having. The Public Arts Committee meeting and the Common Council meeting have each been cancelled.
Right now, the Board of Building Inspection is scheduled to meet on Thursday January 6 at 3PM. They will be taking up a variance request from Ament Enterprises for their property at 101 W. Edison Avenue in Appleton.
The details in the agenda are thin as to the reasons behind the request, but they are seeking a variance so that they do not have to install automatic sprinklers.
