Over the weekend fro, 11/19/2021-11/21/2021 Appleton recorded 75 confirmed cases on Friday, 44 on Saturday, and 34 on Sunday for a total of 153. We also recorded 12 probable cases on Friday, 10 on Saturday, and 4 on Sunday for a total of 26. Active cases rose by 5 to 437. Cases out of isolation increased by 147 to 12,044. Appleton experienced 1 new death with/from coronavirus bringing our total since the start of the pandemic to 74.
Appleton’s current 7-day running average of confirmed cases is 46 and of confirmed and probable cases combined is 61.71. This compares to last year’s confirmed 7-day running average of 55.71. (Appleton did not start recording probable cases until 11/23/2021.) Appleton currently has 437 active case as compared to 711 on this day last year. Last year between March 18 (the day of Appleton’s first recorded case) and November 21, Appleton recorded 37 deaths with/from coronavirus as compared to 11 such deaths during that same timeframe this year.
