Both of those are lower than the 7-day running average of confirmed cases on this day last year of 60.14. (Appleton did not start recording probable cases until 11/23/2020.) Appleton currently has 280 active cases as compared to 760 on this day last year. Last year between March 18 (the day of Appleton’s first recorded case) and November 9, Appleton recorded 28 deaths with/from coronavirus as compared to 9 deaths during that same timeframe this year.
