Appleton’s Covid-19 dashboard was finally updated earlier today after not being updated yesterday. Appleton recorded 30 confirmed cases on 11/04/2021 and 31 confirmed cases on 11/03/2021. It also recorded 1 probable case on 11/04 and 2 probable cases on 11/03. Active cases dropped by 11 to 260 and cases out of isolation increased by 48 to 11,322. Deaths remained unchanged at 72.
Appleton’s current 7-day running average for confirmed cases is 26.43 and for confirmed and probable cases combined is 33.29. This compares to a 7-day running average of confirmed cases on this day last year of 58.43. (Appleton did not start recording probable cases until 11/23/2020.) Appleton currently has 260 active cases as compared to 653 on this day last year. Last year between March 18 (the day of Appleton’s first recorded case) and November 4, Appleton recorded 27 deaths with/from coronavirus as compared to only 9 such deaths during that same time frame this year.
