Both of those are lower than the 7 day running average of confirmed cases on this day last year which was 59. (Appleton did not start recording probable cases until 11/23/2020.) Appleton currently has 281 active cases as compared to 726 on this day last year. Last year between March 18 (the day of Appleton’s first recorded case) and October 26, Appleton recorded 24 deaths with/from coronavirus as compared to 9 during that same timeframe this year.
