- Redistricting Principles and Guidelines
- Population Changes
- Proposed County Supervisory District Maps

Redistricting Principles include compactness, continuity, and ideal population.
The city is facing a number of challenges…
- Time – a process that would normally have started in the summer is being condensed into 2 months
- Three Counties – Appleton sits on 3 counties and their final plans may not be completed until they receive the Supervidory district plans from all three counties.
- Island Territory/Ward Configuration – some of the city’s growth areas, particularly on the North side, will cause issues for contiguous and compact Redistricting lines
- Aldermanic District Changes – there is expected to be substantial changes is some Aldermanic Districts
- Congressional And State Legislative Redistricting – it is possible the state will not incorporate the local level plan which will require modifications to the municipal level plan after the state Congressional And Legislative lines have been drawn
