The Board of Building Inspection is meeting today, 09/15/2021, at 3PM.
Fox Valley Lutheran High School is seeking a variance to build an athletic storage building with stairs that are only 8″ high and 9″ deep. However, “Section 4-136 of the Municipal Code (IBC 1011.5.2 of the Commercial Code) requires riser height to be a maximum of 7″ and tread depth to be a minimum of 11”.
