This compares to a confirmed case 7-day running average of 15.57 last year (Appleton did not start tracking probable cases until 11/23/2020). Appleton currently has 201 active cases as compared to 200 on this day last year. Last year between March 18 (the day Appleton recorded it’s first coronavirus case) and September 2, Appleton recorded 8 deaths with/from coronavirus as compared to 4 during that same timeframe this year.
