During the 07/07/2021 Common Council meeting Alderperson Chad Doran (District 15) asked to refer back to the Municipal Services Committee item 21-0872 regarding banning metal shipping containers and pole buildings as accessory structures.
When asked to give his reason for the refer back, he said that he had been doing some more research and had a conversation with Director Paula Vandehey and that there were some other questions and information he thought would be good for the committee to discuss before the item was brought back before the Council for a vote.
[I am all a tingle wanting to know what this new information is and whether it will help those who want to ban pole buildings or those who want to allow them. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long. The next Municipal Services Committee meeting is on 07/12/2021.]
