Temporary Interactive Art Sculpture Erected At Lawrence University For People Who Have Been Fully Vaccinated

For those who have been fully vaccinated, Lawrence University has a new temporary art installation just for you. This interactive sculpture is located on the Lawrence front lawn next to the Seeley G. Mudd Library and the Wriston Art Center.

I didn’t see anything indicating how long it would remain erected and available, so I would recommend checking it out sooner rather than later.

From the note posted on it:

This is an interactive sculpture!

If you have been fully vaccinated, grab a friend or small group and walk through the white plastic curtain. When you’re inside, do something absurd.

Some things you might try:

Slow-dance as a pair or as a group – but take it a little too seriously. Pretend you’re at the Met Gala or something.

Kiss a friend with your eyes fully open.

Smoke an entire pack of Camel Crush cigarettes. Do they even still make those? Who knows…

Call your insurance company and demand an apology—lord knows you deserve one!

Take your first stab at transcendental meditation.

Call someone you haven’t spoke to in a long time and reminisce about the good old days. Call someone you’ve never spoke to and reminisce about the good old days.”
