On 04/09/2021 Appleton recorded 16 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 6 new probable cases. Active cases rose by 8 to 164. Cases out of isolation increased by 14 to 8,264. Deaths remained unchanged at 63. We have now gone 40 days without someone dying from/with coronavirus which is the longest such stretch since the beginning of the pandemic. The second longest one was a 39 day period in June and July of 2020.
