On 01/09/2021 Appleton reported 33 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 18 new probable cases. Active cases rose by 35. Cases out of isolation increased by 16. There were no new deaths. We’ve now gone 10 days without a new death. The last time we went that long was at the end of September/beginning of October when we went 12 days between deaths.
Counting both confirmed and probable cases, 9.26% of Appleton’s population has gotten coronavirus. 0.76% of those have died, 88.14% have recovered, and 11.1% are still active.
