Mayor Woodford has come out with two new mayoral proclamations.
He has declared November Native American Heritage month in Appleton and urges all residents to observe this month with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.
He has further proclaimed November 28 through December 4 Small Business Week in Appleton and urges all Fox Cities residents to support small businesses and merchants during that week.
Particularly noteworthy is the Mayor’s statement in his Small Business Week proclamation that “more than half of our small businesses reported that they need consumer spending [to] return to pre-COVID-19 levels by the end of 2020 to stay in business”.
