The Utilities Committee is meeting 11/10/2020 at 5pm.
They’ll be voting on awarding a drainage study contract to Stormwater Consulting Services not to exceed $47,500.
They’ll also take up the resolution that was discussed at the recent Finance Committee Meeting which would let Menasha go forward with some platting work on a new subdivision.
There will also be an update on the service line warranty program. (I think I’ve mentioned it before, but if you’re interested in that sort of protection give your home insurance company a call and find out if they cover sewer and water laterals. Many do, typically at a much lower cost than the company Appleton has partnered with to advertise sewer lateral coverage.)
Most scintillating of all is the promised Overview of Appleton’s Water Distribution System. I hope it’s as entertaining as the Curious George tv show episode about sewer systems and waste water treatment.
