The Finance Committee is meeting 11/09 at 5:30pm. There’s one action item and then a presentation/information item regarding budget adjustments. I’ll be sure to stay awake for that.
The action item is a resolution authorizing staff to finalize land transaction terms with the City of Menasha. Apparently Menasha wants to build a road on land we own and we need an easement from Menasha to install a raw water line. Menasha needs assurance that we’re going to continue working with them on this in good faith before they continue some preliminary playing related to the roadway. This resolution would give them that assurance.
I know we’re all disappointed, but it looks like we won’t be going to war with Menasha just yet.
