Another year of Trick or Treating is under the belt. I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday however they chose to celebrate or not celebrate it. Of course, it would stand to reason that we’d have the most perfect Trick or Treating weather imaginable the year of a pandemic.
Pandemic or no, there were plenty of kids out going door to door and plenty of people passing out candy, but overall I’d say participation amongst people passing out candy was down by 40%-50% from last year. Don’t worry though, there was still lots of candy on tap. I’d say it was about 50/50 people passing out in person vs those who put out bowls or set up tables, and I didn’t see any bowls that were totally emptied by no good candy thieves as so often happens.
All in all it seemed like a positive evening.
