The municipal services committee is meeting 10/26 at 4:30. On the agenda, some street reconstruction and a discussion of the 2021 budget. This is city government at its best–boring and providing basic services. Just what I like. Coronavirus Numbers For 10/20/2020
Appleton saw only 42 new cases. Active cases actually decreased by 34. Cases out of isolation rose by 76. No new deaths. I would think by next week we’ll start seeing if having a local testing site will cause our numbers to increase.
AASD School Closure Protest
A group of parents will be protesting the continued closure of AASD schools on Friday 10/23. They’ll be gathering from 3-5 in downtown Appleton outside the AASD district offices. Will Superintendent Baseman show up to talk with them? https://fb.me/e/1AegK2wi7
